ASUP STRIKE: Now I dey beg una. Give us amnesty --NAPS President

"Please I think my fellow Polytes have enjoyed the strike enough. Even my Aboki Senate President and his kinsmen were malhandled by red eyes mopol during the Yaba cow-killing-protest. Biko ASUP, I'm going to serve very soon. While I'm away collecting alawi; let my people them return to class. Who knows, some would have goodluck and get mobilised for NYSC next year or the one after. FG and ASUP I'm begging. We will not protest again. Infact I told that guy Lukman and Salvado to temporarily quench their Aluta, them say we no go gree! We no go gree! Them say I clueless like Uncle Jonathan, that's why I didn't partake in many of the protests. As the Oga at the top, supreme President of gbogbo polyte, I hereby beg for amnesty. We will submit the cow, the placards and those cardboard papers with the markers sef. Not for my sake, but theirs. Dazzol!" --NAPS Presido

Hold it! Before vexnation make you tear that N100 recharge card you are about to load, that statement above is a reflection of what I can deduce from the exhibition of Sunday Ogbonanya, the President National Association of Polytechnic Students and not his particular thought at all. Actually he was interviewed by News agency of Nigeria, NAN in Abuja and he of course pleaded on behalf of the malingned students. However you may want to ask, why now?

As a matter of fact, the NAPS Presido would be graduating and possibly mobilized with Batch C in November as his institution Auchi Polytechnic Edo state, were never a party to the whole ASUP crincum cracum from onset. Perhaps that partly, beside considerable ignorance, ineptitude and nonchalancy, explain why this ineffèctual appeal is coming after 10 months and still counting. Better late than never I guess.
