FPI FAILED ASUP CONGRESS: What Happened?

A fog of dust has being raised in the last couple of days after the juicy promises of resumption by the union president of the Federal polytechnic Ilaro: Olaolo Folarin misfired. After speaking with several personea who are privy to inside information, I have in the succeeding paragraph laid plain some facts many may never know.

Firstly, some eminent; well meaning emissary facilitated what was suppose to necessitate the purported ASUP congress. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with the make-believe and presumptuous influence of the union president: Olaolo Folarin and his entourage of pathetic vuvuzella. Nonetheless, we at least ought to be grateful that somebody thought it right to exclusively broadcast some good news however monumentally disastrous it has turned out to be. Maybe if only they hadn't being a little impatient.

Alas! there actually was a congress slated for yesterday, wednesday as some ASUP members alleged that they had recieved an sms on that regard. But wait! Congress is a manipulative and precarious business where the outcome is technically uncertain, so going to town with a premonition and even a resumption date was an unacceptable adventure from Mr Follex and his vuvuzellas. Few weeks ago, Kaduna Poly had a local congress and just a handful of seven votes wrecked all hope of imminent resumption. He could have being, maybe optimistic or even prophetic. But going viral with a predestined outcome is contemptous and a mockery of the prudency of the entire excersice and of course the lecturers whose votes we understood were suppose to be the only deciding factor after all.

Finally, it's most likely than not, that the suspended congress would be hinged on the coming week, maybe the week after or even the one after that. Assuming a date now would be tanatmount to the well documented arrogance of Follex, so it's advisable to keep mute and allow them the satisfaction of giving us the suprise package if there is actually anything like that in the offing.
However, the only enccumbrance towards this realisaton is the emergence of a new Education Minister: Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau whose antecedence while as Kano State governor is as dim as the prevalling realities. Nevertheless ASUP may resolve to hang on with the strike with the hope that, perhaps, a little respite would be achieved with Nyesom Wike now out of the picture and this would of course further delay the decision of congress, opting out or whatsoever.
